The Bookcase Design Group, with over 18 years of experience in the manufacture, design, and sale of wood furniture helps bring your design ideas to life.  We help you design and build your custom furniture without the limitations of pre built and pre finished bookcases, entertainment centers, home or office ideas, and cabinets that are typical of stores.

We feel that the design of your bookcase, wall unit or entertainment center should be done with a knowledgeable member of our sales staff in your home or office, in the room that you want your design to be a part of instead of in a store.

Our no cost no obligation design sessions are offered throughout Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Including Baltimore,Wilmington, Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore.

Each session begins in your home when a member of our team brings with them samples of the woods that we use, maple or oak, samples of the moldings, paints, stains and a book of ideas.  We help you measure the space that you want to use and work with you to design your custom furniture.  We do not limit your ideas to specific designs or sizes, as we can offer you any width, depth or height that you need.

Upon completion of your design session, the production process takes place locally here in the United States. We do not import from overseas the materials used to make your custom furniture.  Delivery and installation are part of the process and are taken care of by our own representatives to ensure Professionalism, Quality, and Satisfaction.

Whether you want to build an entertainment center for that new flat panel T.V,  want to create a custom home office, or need to combine a variety of cabinets, bookcases and hutches to hide or display your collections, we can help you accomplish that. If you are looking for a single bookcase or are looking to build a wall unit made up of multiple bookcases that span an entire wall we can help you design that also.   

We do not pre build nor pre stock any of our designs.  Each finished design is unique to each individual customer.  We spray all of our paint colors, stains and top coats based on the color chosen by the customer.
